Snap Closet

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 23, 2026

Your privacy matters. Your photos are used only to provide Snap Closet's features. We do not sell your data, use your photos to train AI models, or perform face recognition. The details are below.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use it

We use this information to store your closet and outfit history; identify and tag clothing; find similar items; generate garment images, fitting models, and virtual try-on images; provide outfit suggestions and closet reports; manage purchases and credits; respond to feedback; and understand usage, troubleshoot errors, and improve performance. We do not sell your data. Your photos and other cloud AI inputs are not used to train AI models.

3. Biometric information

Snap Closet does not perform face recognition or collect, process, or store biometric identifiers such as facial geometry, retina or iris data, fingerprints, or voiceprints. Background removal runs on your device and is not used to identify you. When you create a real-person try-on model, the app checks on your device whether the photos show a full body and a face. These checks only locate the subject in the frame; they do not identify you or store facial templates.

4. Who we share it with

Your data is stored and processed on cloud infrastructure and cloud AI services operated by our service providers. Subscription service providers and app stores process account and purchase information to manage purchases and subscriptions. For purchases made on the web, a payment processor handles your billing email and card details; card data is processed by the payment processor and never reaches us. Payment records are kept as required by law and are not removed by account deletion. We do not share your personal information with other third parties, except where required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

You can view and edit your items in the app. Deleting an item or outfit removes it from the app's lists, but its stored record may remain until account deletion. Item photos and data used to find similar items remain until account deletion. The app attempts to remove look images when you delete an outfit; images that are not removed may remain until account deletion.

For lifestyle imports, the app attempts to remove the import source photo and working files after you successfully add the results to your closet or choose Start over on the results screen. Cancelled or abandoned imports, and files left after unsuccessful cleanup, may remain until account deletion. Expiry of an import task does not delete its photo files. Images added to your closet follow the retention rules for closet items.

You can delete generated real-person try-on photos at any time from the try-on models page in the app. These images are also deleted when you delete your account.

Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) removes your sign-in account, closet and outfit records, quota and credit records, and files in your private account storage, including clothing photos, look photos, import files, fitting-model images, and real-person try-on photos.

Account deletion does not remove analytics events, feedback you submitted, operational logs, or records held separately by subscription service providers and app stores. Analytics archives and feedback currently have no automatic deletion deadline; they retain the former account identifier, and feedback retains the text you submitted. A limited-lived copy of analytics events expires separately; this does not delete the archive.

Cloud AI service providers may retain processing and security logs under their applicable service terms. Deleting your Snap Closet account does not itself delete those records. It also does not cancel an active subscription; cancel store subscriptions in your app store's subscription settings and web subscriptions in the customer portal linked from your billing emails.

6. Advertising & tracking

Snap Closet currently contains no third-party advertising and does not track you across third-party apps or websites. If we introduce advertising or tracking in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent as required by the platform (such as App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

7. Children

Snap Closet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
