# Snap Closet — Now, let your favorite agent handle your closet.

Add clothes, find an outfit and keep a wear record in the conversation you already use.

## Your closet in conversation

[English demo — Watch on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5BxfYFBCeY)

This demo was recorded in ChatGPT. Other agents may present their responses differently.

## Two ways in. One closet.

Your personal agent and the Snap Closet app connect to the same hosted closet and outfit engine. Your agent can add its own advice. Premium is shared on the same account.

### A simple app. A richer conversation.

Snap Closet’s outfit engine suggests combinations for an occasion, temperature range or wish. Your agent can then use the plans and preferences you share to expand on those results. The app stays focused; the conversation can go further.

### Your Premium benefits come with you.

Both entrances use the same closet data hosted by Snap Closet. Premium purchased in the app or on the web carries over, with no additional subscription.

We recommend both: use the app to see and organize your clothes, and your agent to talk through a choice.

## Connect your agent

Official plugins are coming soon to replace manual MCP setup. Stay tuned.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to browse your clothes and discuss outfits in chat.

### Claude

Claude can display your clothes as image cards in chat.

1. **Open Connectors** — In Claude, click your profile icon → Settings. Select Connectors, then + Add → Add custom connector.

![1 Connectors → 2 Add → 3 Add custom connector. Select the image to view the original.](https://snap-closet.com/assets/product/agent-claude-connectors-en.png)

2. **Add Snap Closet** — Use Snap Closet as the name and the MCP server URL below. Choose Continue, then follow the prompts to finish setup and sign in.

3. **Sign in and start a conversation** — Review the Snap Closet account and permissions in the browser. Return to Claude and enable Snap Closet for the conversation.

### ChatGPT

ChatGPT can display your clothes as image cards in chat.

1. **Open Plugins** — Desktop: open Plugins and choose Add custom MCP server.
Web: open chatgpt.com/plugins and choose Add → Add custom MCP server.

![1 Plugins → 2 Add → 3 Add custom MCP server. Select the image to enlarge.](https://snap-closet.com/assets/product/agent-chatgpt-plugins-tab-en.png)

2. **Enter connection details** — Name it Snap Closet, enter the MCP server URL below and choose OAuth for authentication. Follow the prompts to finish creating the connection.

![1 Name → 2 Server URL → 3 OAuth. Select the image to enlarge.](https://snap-closet.com/assets/product/agent-chatgpt-add-en.png)

3. **Connect and use it** — Sign in to Snap Closet, review the permissions and enable the plugin in a conversation. For a write action, choose Allow once if Always allow is unavailable.

### Check the account and permissions

Use your existing Snap Closet sign-in method. Check that the account and closet are yours. Leave writing enabled to add clothes or save records, or turn it off for read-only access. Then allow the connection.

### Try your first conversation

Ask: “Show me an overview of my closet.” If it is empty, ask how to add your first garment.

### If the connection does not work

#### My closet looks empty

Check that you used the same sign-in method as in the app. Email, Google and Apple sign-ins can refer to different accounts.

#### I cannot add clothes or save records

Check that this connection has write permission and writing is enabled in Manage connections. A read-only connection must be authorized again with write access.

#### I do not see the connector option

Check your agent’s plan and workspace policy. Ask the workspace administrator if custom connections are restricted.

You can also connect through the Codex or Claude Code terminal, but images may not display and the experience is less suited to browsing clothes than chat.

## About your agent’s advice

Snap Closet provides the results returned by its own outfit engine. Your personal agent may interpret those results and add suggestions using its own model. Snap Closet does not control that additional output, and it does not represent Snap Closet’s views.
